The holidays are almost here! These chalkboard place holders are super easy to make and are an economical way to spruce up your table décor. I simply dressed up a plain pumpkin shaped placeholder. These I found in Hobby Lobby and I have had them for a while so I don’t know if they are still available. You don’t have to purchase plain placeholders however.

Tip: You can cut out a shape from sturdy chipboard and paint it with black chalk paint.

What you will need.
Burlap fabric
Natural raffia
Chalkboard place holder
Tools- scissors, glue mod podge. (optional)
Tip: once everything has been glued in place you can apply mod podge on the burlap to reinforce it and prevent fraying.
